The Amherst Ohio Wargo's

Well, I'm just about done with my Trig and Access File Systems classes. I am waiting for the much needed winter break. Hmmmm, you can really survive on only 4 hours a sleep per night. It is uncomfortable but possible. Here's the funny thing, sometimes on the weekends when I can sleep in I can't. I guess my body is used to getting up and going on less than 8 hours now. I'm sure after school is finally over, that will change. Anyway, just a quick update to keep the blog moving. See ya next time!

Have a look at the family site. It isn't completely finished but it's rolling along.

First round of classes end!

I finished my first round of programming classes. I learned an important lesson, not about programming but about taking online classes. I will never take two programming classes at the same time again. The amount of work was tremendous, but I did survive and received A's in both classes. Now I'm only taking trigonometry. The cob webs are clearing and most of the information is coming back to me. The pace of the online classes is very fast. If you slip a day or two it is tough to catch back up with the work. It seems there is something due every night of the week.

It has been busy, but life goes on. This Friday we are having a birthday party/sleep over for my daughter Taylor who is turning 13. I think just yesterday I was teaching her to ride a bike. I shudder at the thought that her wedding could come just as fast! A small house full of giggling girls who will probably stay up all night and try and sleep all day. It's good to be young. I heard a saying the other day which hits home: Youth is wasted on the young. She has tons of energy and no focus.

OK, enough already. I have some homework to do - more trig problems. I'll try and get back for more updates (like anyone reads them anyway).

College continues!

So, I was stupid enough to take two programming classes at once. The amount of work is frustratingly large! My wife is beginning to think I have a love affair with my computer. It seems as if I'm at the computer every night hammering out code.

What makes it a little easier is I do have a small amount of experience in HTML. So, my pages are flowing a little easier than my INTO TO PROGRAMMING class which is all pseudocode - not really a program but close enough to drive me crazy. I'm not even sure if my homework is correct when I submit it. I can't compile and check it so I do my best and submit. Anyway, I am not even sure if anyone is looking at this thing. I guess it will be a place for me to vent a little.
Bye for now (if anyone is listening!)

Talk about anything!

Hello everyone!

I have been busy learning HTML and building a web site for my family.
If you would like to see my lame attempts, visit:
WargoFamily.com

I will try and come back to make regular posts. I see other blogs with LOADS of comments and posts. I just don't see how I would ever have that much time. But, I will keep on truckin'!

I'm not even sure if anyone has visited my blog. If you have - drop me a note!
Thanks in advance. . .
